Does your smartphone need a case?

- You invest your savings to buy a smartphone and as usual you want to use it for long time. To be used for long time your smartphone must be kept externally and internally safe. The main way to keep your phone externally safe is by using a proper phone case. Nowadays people have different views about the use of phone cases and this might have confused you too.

Let us talk about some pros of using a smartphone case. The case you use in your phone is responsible for protecting it from any kind of external damage. A good quality cover protects your phone from fall damage or rough handling damage which includes screen cracks, dents , scratches and many more. You've noticed or not your case also protects your camera and screen from scratches due to it's thickness. To summarize, phone cases are made to protect your phone anyhow and a good quality & properly designed phone case does it perfectly.

Nowadays people are talking about some cons of phone cases. The most popular theory is that " Your phone case hampers your smartphone's cooling ". Many experiments have proved this theory. To understand it better, the cooling system on your smartphone works by radiating the heat from your phone to atmosphere and your case works as an obstacle in this process. So an smartphone case does increase temperature of your smartphone and slows it down in most scenario. Some smartphone cases are not even properly designed and cause problem with ports of your smartphone. But does it mean that you should avoid using phone cases and expose your $1000 smartphones to direct danger? Are our smartphones strong enough to withstand that sort of...?

It depends on your smartphone handling. If you handle your phone nicely and keep it safe like the most valuable object in the universe than you don't need a case. ( But it's better to have one installed.) But if you use your smartphone like a dog taking care of a bone than you must have a protective case installed. To be simple, if you carry your smartphone all time and in all conditions than having a proper case is good for you and your phone. But what about heat damage.. 

In my view, heat damage happens after a long time but your smartphone has great possibility of slipping out of your hand and banging on the floor with a horrific sound that nearly stops your heartbeat for an instant.

If you are keeping your smartphone naked till now, go to the store and get one which is protective enough. You can even get a properly designed, well ventilated case for your smartphone. If you are experiencing excessive heating problem than you can simply take your case off for a short time specially while charging or while using heavy apps and games in your smartphone.
